Congratulations to all of the wonderful pianists who entered the AMEB X KAWAI Piano Competition. The judging panel were very impressed by the high standard of all entrants and were delighted to see such enthusiastic playing. The teams at AMEB & Kawai Australia were thrilled to hear so many budding and accomplished pianists and we wish all the entrants the very best for their ongoing piano studies.
To celebrate the release of the new AMEB Piano syllabus and Series 18 publications, AMEB and Kawai Australia teamed up to offer Australian pianists the chance to win one of two Kawai pianos.
Entrants were required to record a video of themselves playing their chosen piece from a Series 18 Piano grade book.
Two prizes were on offer. Level 1 (Preliminary to Grade 4) entrants could win a Kawai ES110 portable digital piano or Level 2 (Grade 5 to Grade 8) entrants could win a Kawai K-300 upright piano.
